a place on the web dedicated to my personal hobbies and interests, mainly space and linguistics and conlanging. everything is always a work in progress. i try to update weekly.
i have no idea how this page will look like on other devices and other browsers, i mostly view on firefox.
i was inspired earlier in march to get into neocities by a string of perfect youtube algorithm recommendations that involved vids from randy moon, youve got kat, and stargirl lee. at the time, i was just beginning to log observations though my telescope, and i thought a website on neocities would be a perfect place to save my log, and it would give me some incentive to update it consistently. some one or two weeks later, after watching more vids on neocities, i opened an account and created this site.
the name is not entirely made up. it certainly doesnt exist as a real name or word in the target language, but it has a pronunciation regardless. /ˈθɑɹoʊwaɪ/ for the american englishy pronunciation, and [t̪ʰa.ɾo.ɦwa.i] for the more nativish pronunciation.
